The Sounds of Geekdom

This site has a nice library of recordings of game sounds.  And not just a single "wokka" or "splert" or to quote Q*bert "@!#?@!", but long recordings of whole games or segments.  Sure you could just fire up a game yourself, but sometimes it's fun to be on your computer, jump over for a second and fire off the intro to "Star Castle".  The sound quality isn't great and in many you can hear background noise, but the nostalgia factor is high and I appreciate the work done to collect them all.  By the way, there are a lot of them.  Here's the page....

  1. When I read, I thought was something like a competitor for M1 Player, but it's really different. The noises of surround environment, despite hinder a bit the enjoying of the moment, makes those recordings very original.
    Great find.
